Each petal, which has a ruffled, or pie-crust edge, possesses paler markings along its centre. These colours then blend toward a throat of golden yellow. Daylily 'Entrapment' is known for its blooms, often as much as 15cm across, and which come in astonishing number; in early summer it covers itself in flower, really packing the garden with colour. And, even better, it often sends out a second flush of bloom towards the end of the summer.
Hemerocallis 'Entrapment' was first introduced to the gardening public around 20 years ago, so it has stood the test of time. Its thin, arching, sword-shaped foliage is mid-green, lush and grows to a height of around 60cm. 'Entrapment' is a sturdy, strong, easy-to-care-for perennial—so it will come back year after year.
